Publishers: overview
MotherShy lets you monetize AI-agent access to your content — while human readers and search engines pass through untouched.
The flow from "I have a site" to "I'm earning from agents" is five steps:
- Enroll — log in and claim your domain.
- Verify — prove you own it (a single DNS TXT record).
- Install — drop a wall in front of your stack (six form factors).
- Price — set a per-access price and your payout address.
- Earn — agents pay; you watch it in the dashboard.
What you get
- A wall in six form factors — Cloudflare Worker, WordPress plugin, Node middleware, Nginx/Go binary, Vercel edge, Netlify edge. Same trust core, byte-for-byte identical behavior.
- A pricing dashboard — set price, network, and payout; see gross earnings with a link to the on-chain transaction.
- Zero key custody — your signing key never leaves your machine; MotherShy holds only your public key and a shared HMAC secret.
What you don't get
- No cut of your content revenue. Money settles funder → publisher directly over x402/MPP/Pay Per Crawl. MotherShy earns on the subscription, never your content.
- No human friction. Humans, Googlebot, and link-preview bots always pass. Only un-enrolled AI agents are gated.
- No lock-in. The wall is keyless and offline — it pins a public root and needs no live MotherShy to serve traffic.
Pick your wall
| Form factor | Runtime | Install guide |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Worker | V8 isolate | Cloudflare |
| WordPress plugin | PHP | WordPress |
| Node.js middleware | Node | Node.js |
| Nginx / Go binary | Go | Nginx / self-hosted |
| Vercel edge | V8/edge | Vercel |
| Netlify edge | Deno | Netlify |
Not sure? Pick the one that matches your existing hosting. All six gate identically.
Next
- Install the wall — start with Cloudflare, the most common.
- Verify your domain — the DNS TXT step.
